Concept

FKJ is a french electro jazz musician who plays every instrument and loops them together with a computer, making himself a one-man band. The sharpie hand-script is referencing FKJ’s instrumental handiwork and improv style. The FKJ script is layered like his music is; and is in blue, white, and red referencing France’s flag. The type used is Frutiger for another french connection—the creator Adrian Frutiger developed it for the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris for it’s ultra legibility within the airports wayfinding and sign system.
